The first band fee payment of $100.00 is due.   Please make checks payable to:  Northwestern High School. This amount covers band camp meals, instruction, camp supplies and additional marching band expenses. 

Note: Free/Reduced lunch families should contact Mr. Wells for payment verification. This initial payment serves as a commitment from each student to participate in marching band.

July 15 & 22

Optional Tuesday night rehearsals from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. These rehearsals will be held in the band room.  We will offer individual and ensemble music help.  These sessions are very helpful. You need to attend at least one of these Tuesday rehearsals!

July 30-Aug.1  

Percussion Camp at Northwestern…8:00 a.m.-12:00 noon

July 30-Aug. 1

Rookie Camp..8:00 a.m.- 12:30 each day for all first year marchers. ( This is required of all beginning marchers)

Aug. 4-Aug 6

Pre-Camp at Northwestern.  These rehearsals are for all members

Monday, Aug. 4

§         8:00 – 12:00 –Everyone - all grade levels

§         1:30 – 3:30 –  Everyone (grades 9-12)

§         6:00 – 8:00 –  Rehearsal for everyone

Tuesday, Aug. 5    

Same as Monday

Wednesday, Aug 6

§         8:00 – 12:00 – Everyone

§         1:30 – 3:30 –   All members

§         6:00 – 7:00 –   Full rehearsal for all

§         7:00 p.m. Mandatory meeting of all parents and Students in the band room !!

Aug.7- Aug.8

Band Camp.  To be held at Northwestern H.S. each day from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  This camp is required for all members of the Purple Regiment!  Students will remain at camp all day!  Lunch and Dinner will be provided by Band Boosters.  Specific details and times will be announced at a later date.  *Note: there will not be any evening rehearsals on Friday, August 8^th

August 11 -13

Band camp continues: 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. each day

August 13

7:00 p.m.  Band camp ending exhibition followed by our annual COVERED DISH DINNER ON THE GROUNDS
