FISH FRY INFORMATION

DATES: MARCH 29^TH AND 30^TH, 2008

PLACE: NORTHWESTERN HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA

HOURS: SATURDAY, MARCH 29^TH 11:30 A.M. TO 7:30 P.M.

SUNDAY, MARCH 30^TH 11:00 A.M. TO 6:00 P.M.

SET UP: FRIDAY, MARCH 28^TH 5:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. (OR UNTIL DONE)

COST: $7.00 PER PLATE (ALL YOU CAN EAT) CHILDREN 10 AND UNDER EAT FREE

THE MORE TICKETS YOU SELL, THE MORE MONEY YOU MAKE FOR YOUR PERSONAL BAND ACCOUNT – A GREAT WAY TO BEGIN MAKING MONEY!

HERE’S HOW:

Sell as many tickets to the fish fry as you can.

Promote, promote, promote…..tell anyone and everyone about this event and offer any help or information.

Ask about putting up posters in a local store or in your neighborhood.

Sign up –work a 4-hour shift (waiting tables or working at take out station or other sales of tickets or baked goods) at 5bcps per hour (plus any tips you get:…………..you keep).

Encourage members of your family to sign up to work the event – they, too, will be paid 5 bcps per hour per worker. (4-hour shifts)

However, (and this is very, very important): work assignments will be given on a first come/first serve basis. Once the assignments are gone, they are gone and you will miss your opportunity.

Perform and sell – we have gotten permission from Mr. Wells to allow two adults to accompany 5 – 6 students to Local stores and businesses. Purpose: you play – adults sell. Whatever the number of tickets sold happens to be, students performing will share the number sold. Example: 50 tickets are sold, 5 of you perform, each of you has just sold 10 tickets. How easy is that? Do what you do best – play music and leave the selling to us!!!!!

Each family is being asked to provide a homemade dessert for use at the fish fry – these will be sold in individual portions. Example: your family donates a pound cake – we slice it and sell individual slices for 50 cents ($.50) that will go to profits

BAKE SALE

(SEPARATE FROM INDIVIDUAL DESSERTS TO BE SOLD WITH DINNER)

FAST, FAST, FAST MONEY!

Obtain donations of various homemade baked goods from mom, grandma, grandpa, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors!

Your name will be placed on your donated baked goods and marked with a sale price – whatever the item sells for, you have just earned easy money directly into your account.

Example: Grandma donates a chocolate pie that sells for $6.00. This amount will be recorded on a spread sheet in your name and this amount will be immediately credited to you – every single penny of it!

The more donations you obtain, yes, yes, yes, the more money you make. Couldn’t be simpler!

There will also be limited numbers of students who will work this part of the event – this will also be done in 4-hour shifts and you can earn 5 BCP's per hour. Again, first come – first serve. Once the jobs are filled, they are filled and we cannot create more.

NOW FOR THE REALLY EASY PART!

TV RAFFLE TICKETS

WE ARE GOING TO SELL RAFFLE TICKETS FOR A 42 INCH, FLAT SCREEN HD TELEVISION!

If you participate in selling these tickets for the raffle, you will be given twelve (12) tickets to sell. The cost of each ticket is $5.00 per chance, or 6 chances for $25.00. How many you sell is entirely up to you. If you sell nothing, the tickets must be returned to the band boosters. Once you have sold the initial 12 tickets, you are welcomed to get more.

Remember that each ticket comes in two parts – the buyer keeps the part with only the number and fills out the stub that will be returned with the money. Please be sure that the buyer puts a name and telephone number so that he/she can be notified at the time of the drawing. The winner does not have to be present to win. Please be certain to state this to any potential buyer.

Once you have sold your 12 tickets and returned the money to us, ($60.00 total) every single ticket that you sell thereafter will earn $5.00 per ticket sold. You will receive 100% of the profits. Example: meaty sells his 12 tickets plus 10 additional tickets. He has just earned another $50.00 going directly to his account.

And, there’s more. We are offering cash prizes for the top five sales people: top seller will receive $100 in cash; 2^nd will receive $80; 3^rd will receive $60; 4^th will receive $40; and 5^th will receive $20. This does not have to go to your account unless you wish for it to do so. You may take the cash and spend it any way you like. What a deal!

Remember, this is your fundraiser and you (and only you and your family) have control over how much you do and how much you can make. The possibilities are endless and you can earn a tremendous amount for your band account with very little time and effort. Please use this golden opportunity to achieve the best that you can (as you always do for the purple regiment). We look forward to working with you in this team effort.
